To qualify, candidates must first earn the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation and then complete an intensive 10-month curriculum led by top experts in the field. This rigorous program encompasses advanced learning in business brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, and client care, ensuring Master CBIs deliver unparalleled value to their clients.

Shaun F. Rudgear, MCBI, M&AMI, CBB

Shaun graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Business, specializing in Real Estate, and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After earning his Arizona real estate broker's license in 1991, Shaun began an entrepreneurial journey that led him to co-own three medical practices, growing them from startup to nearly $3 million in gross revenue. Through these experiences, Shaun discovered his passion for healthcare business ownership and the unique challenges practice owners face. In 2017, when Shaun needed to exit his practices but was unsure of their value or the process, he recognized the gap in specialized expertise for medical practice transitions. This personal experience inspired him to establish Strategic Medical Brokers, where he now helps healthcare owners navigate the same crossroads he once faced, fully understanding that he has "walked in the shoes of his clients."
