Our First Annual Team Meeting at Strategic Medical Brokers
At Strategic Medical Brokers (SMB), we believe in continual learning and growth. Reflecting this ethos, our team recently came together in the vibrant city of Medellin for our inaugural annual meeting. The goal was not just to enhance our brand or streamline our services, but also to deepen our commitment to you, our clients.
One major highlight was our introduction to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). This comprehensive business model will help us unify our operations, increase efficiency, and realize our shared vision.
Next, we revisited our mission statement to ensure it truly represents our commitment to clients:

With our mission in mind, we identified areas for improvement such as boosting our social media presence, optimizing our digital tools, and enhancing our website for potential buyers.
We also celebrated our recent performance:
- Closed transactions increased 267% during the first half of 2023 compared to 2022.
- Exceeded our Discovery Meetings goal by 133%.
- Valuation income increased 167% during the first half of 2023 compared to 2022.
We also reconnected with our core values: expertise, empathy, and more. To bring these values to life, we matched them with celebrities who we feel embody these traits. From Warren Buffet’s integrity to Steve Jobs’ innovation, it was a fun and insightful exercise that not only brought us closer as a team but also helped us to remember the principles we uphold.
