At Strategic Medical Brokers (SMB), collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. This October, our team gathered for our second bi-annual meeting of 2025, an opportunity to reflect on the successes and milestones we’ve achieved this year, and to set our sights on an even stronger 2026. 

Reflecting on 2025: A Year of Growth and Momentum 

This year has been one of tremendous progress for SMB. Across our team, we’ve seen remarkable engagement from our clients and partners, successfully guiding numerous medical professionals through transitions that mark major milestones in their lives. 

From completing high-value transactions to deepening our network of qualified buyers, our 2025 achievements reflect not only our industry expertise but also the trust our clients place in us. Every successful closing represents more than a business deal, it’s the culmination of planning, strategy, and care that ensures both sellers and buyers achieve their goals. 

Building for 2026: A Shared Vision 

Our meeting was also a moment to look forward. The team spent time discussing market trends, growth opportunities, and new strategies to expand our reach and enhance client service. With the market evolving, SMB remains committed to staying ahead, building on data, relationships, and insight to help our clients make informed and confident decisions. 

We also took this time to reaffirm what sets SMB apart: our dedication to personalized, strategic guidance. Every client’s journey is unique, and our role is to bring clarity and confidence to complex transitions.

Shaun F. Rudgear, MCBI, M&AMI, CBB

Shaun graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Business, specializing in Real Estate, and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After earning his Arizona real estate broker's license in 1991, Shaun began an entrepreneurial journey that led him to co-own three medical practices, growing them from startup to nearly $3 million in gross revenue. Through these experiences, Shaun discovered his passion for healthcare business ownership and the unique challenges practice owners face. In 2017, when Shaun needed to exit his practices but was unsure of their value or the process, he recognized the gap in specialized expertise for medical practice transitions. This personal experience inspired him to establish Strategic Medical Brokers, where he now helps healthcare owners navigate the same crossroads he once faced, fully understanding that he has "walked in the shoes of his clients."
