As I was getting older, I wanted to make sure my practice would continue as an independent practice. One of our physicians initially expressed interest in buying the practice, but then decided things were too good as an employee. Around the same time, my wife and I happened to receive a letter from Strategic Medical Brokers (SMB), which is how we learned that medical practice brokers were an option.
SMB prepared a valuation, outlined their brokering process, and we decided to move forward with their services. SMB listened to what I wanted, and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of interested practices aligned with my values and vision.
Several key things stood out about SMB. We worked closely with Kathy Mannino who led SMB’s structured process and kept things moving. Also, accessibility to Kathy and Shaun was outstanding. They were always available to talk and meet whenever we needed them- which at times was frequent. They were also willing to hold a firm position for us when it mattered.
They are true experts at navigating complex transactions and protecting their clients’ interests and highly recommend them to others looking to sell their medical practices.
